Some Sweet Drawings for a Good Cause

We had our annual Cake Auction at our church last night to raise money for the Boy Scouts. In the past I made a tag with a drawing on it to go on an actual cake. This year I decided to not even make a cake, but instead do two drawings of cake.

Hey, it's fun, lasts longer than an actual cake, and it's fat and calorie and sugar free!! :)

I put both drawings in frames and off they went to the Scout auction.

Clearly this little cake with it's cheeky message and filigree filled frame is a bit of a nod to Marie Antoinette.

And this cupcake is so simple but comes with a message that I know I sometimes need reminding of.

Both drawings are 5" x 7" and done with a Papermate Flair pen and Prismacolor Markers.

  1. I love them!! I totally would have bought them. They're better than cake because there is no guilt associated :)
